Other Documents for Planning

Whitcher Wildlife Ltd will aid you through the process of obtaining planning permission and prepare several types of document in additional to our standard survey reports where the documents are required during the planning process.

CSH - Code for Sustainable Homes

Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) is an assessment method for rating and certifying the environmental performance of new homes. It is based on the BRE Global’s EcoHomes scheme.

We provide a service working with our clients from the design stage of a project to the post works phase. We aim to assist our clients to achieve their desired credits for the 'Ecology' category of CSH by providing the relevant information required for an assessment to be made by the assessor for the following issues:

Following the survey work further information and recommendations can be provided in a report format to maximise the credits awarded.

EcIA - Ecological Impact Assessment

EcIA is a process of identifying, quantifying and evaluating potential effects of development on ecology. All of our work on EcIA is carried out in line with the CIEEM ‘Guidelines for Ecological Impact Assessment in the UK and Ireland’.

We will work with you and the other parties involved in the planning process to identify each stage of the development and to look at and evaluate the impact of the stages on ecology both during and following the development.

The EcIA will be prepared into a comprehensive document that can be submitted in support of your planning application.
